Dear Reader,
If
you are one of the unlucky people who got stuck with Windows 8 you are
in for a very pleasant surprise. Windows 10 is out and it is fantastic.
It melds together the best parts of Windows 7 and Windows 8, adds some
scrumptious ingredients and the final result is a powerful, functional
and simple operating system.
Even though this is different than
both Windows 7 and Windows 8, the whole experience will be familiar to
you. If you have used any version of Windows form XP forward then you
will easily be able to get around and get things done in Windows 10
right away.
And guess what... The start button is back!
Not
only is it back, it's better than you could ever imagine. You can now
combine live tiles with your app list and customize the start menu to
fit your needs. You can resize it as well.
Have a look at the one I used during the recording session:
That is pretty much the default start menu but resized. But you can completely customize this to make it your own.
There are a lot of great things about Windows 10 and I am going to show you the ones that I feel are the best.
But brace yourself; There is a bit of bad news!
Windows 10 Spies on you!
Well that is a little dramatic. Windows 10 looks at everything you do
to try and get to know you. Google does the same thing and most people
have no problem with that. Windows 10 does that to help understand you
better.
The good news is that you can turn some, or all of it off.
I will take you through the privacy settings and explain to you how you can set them to your needs.
Windows
10 really is the best version of Windows Microsoft has ever put out and
I am going to take you through the best features step by strep.
