Being diagnosed with any form of cancer can be devastating. In particular, breast cancer takes a heavy toll on women both physically and emotionally, with the illness threatening their lives, and often what helps them feel like an attractive woman. While it can occur in men, the rate is 1 in 1,000, compared to 1 in8 US women, about 12%, who will develop breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
